Dorothy and I have been friends for about 4 years now. This summer I was having some personal issues and Dorothy offered to coach me. I thought that this would be an awkward situation considering the friendship, and really it has been one of the best and most helpful thing a friend can do for another. She has a wealth of knowledge, a very caring heart and truly listens and is able to pick up on things that are going on with me. I love that we finish each discussion in prayer. Dorothy and I go way back to 1995 when I first moved up to the North woods of Wisconsin. In all the time I have known her she has always been willing to lend a hand. Being a woman of faith, I observed her respect for her husband, duties to her home, and loving nurture of her children. I’ll never forget when her family came to our place in the woods of Springbrook, WI, and teach us how to butcher chickens!

Dorothy has been a solid rock for me in times of trouble. Many times I have called her or spent time visiting to glean from her…words of wisdom…and kindness. She wasn’t always there to help fix things but her listening ear helped ease any burden I carried. I value my friendship with Dorothy and thank God that he placed her in my life’s path. Sherri Becker
